In general hosts live between 20-50 minutes from the meeting locations. They are all checked and homes inspected by NZ Study Tours’ staff. They are chosen for their hospitality and lifestyle attributes. They also are people who love to meet other people and learn about other cultures.
Farms vary in type and range of animals, some are orchard based and lifestyle farms but always with plenty of activity options and 100% kiwi rural experience. Typically farmstays are for 2 or 3 nights and students stay in groups of 3-4 on the same farm.
Farmstays are arranged in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato with up to four meeting locations depending on the size of the group.
